Pay the Audition Fee, Receive an Audition Time Slot Audition fee invoices were sent on August 1 to student applicants who submitted an Audition Application Form before August 1.
The audition fee must be paid by the August 10 deadline to receive an audition time slot.
Your Audition Time Slot
Students, please check email for your audition time slot, which is coming soon! Auditions will occur between 5:00-9:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25 at the Claremont Community School of Music (CCSM).
Check In at Huff Hall
Receive your name tag, unpack instruments and warm up at Huff Recital Hall before heading to the audition room assigned (be sure to receive your name tag for your audition room number!).
Bring your instrument — this includes any instrument materials you need to perform during your audition (rock stops, rosin, bows, reeds, etc.). Piano and percussion instruments provided (if you have preferred percussion mallets, please bring them).
Bring the audition packet with PAGE ONE SIGNED and your sheet music — music does NOT need to be memorized. The signed page at the front of the audition is very important and must be turned in when you check in.
Arrive prepared and with a smile — a positive attitude shows the judges that you want to be a part of the CYSO Orchestras! If you have any questions as you wait for your audition, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our wonderful parent volunteers and CCSM staff.
